An opportunity has arisen for a hard-working, humble and passionate self-employed strength & conditioning coach to join the SEUK certified social enterprise; Harper Performance on a flexible, part-time basis.
The successful applicant will be working within the ‘HP Elite’ arm of the business, servicing aspirational clients from a diverse athletic background in Hersham, Surrey. HP Elite is the profit-making side of our social enterprise, the proceeds of which form the foundation of the funding for our entire social enterprise.
The proceeds of HP Elite are reinvested into our project work (HP Projects) with disadvantaged elite athletes all over the world. Current HP Elite clients include elite motorsport, equestrian, racquet sport and endurance athletes, along with a number of top-level recreational athletes from a diverse range of sports.
It is envisaged that, as the coach develops, they will be fast-tracked and appropriately mentored by our HP Projects multi-disciplinary team into the ‘HP Projects Practitioner Pool’, from which we form our expert teams that work on our projects with disadvantaged and marginalised elite athletes all over the world.
The successful applicant will be expected to engage in various business development initiatives as part of the role.
➢ At least 2 years relevant experience (preferably in high-performance sport).
➢ Relevant undergraduate degree from a recognised university.
➢ Recognised strength & conditioning qualification (NSCA, CSCCa, NASM PES etc.).
➢ Positive, passionate, team-orientated individual.
➢ Excellent organisational & communication skills.
➢ Demonstrable evidence of continued professional development (formal & informal).
➢ Ability to manage and coordinate multiple concurrent S&C programmes and athletes.
➢ Available to work flexible hours.
➢ Valid personal liability insurance.
