Through our ambassador programme; The HP Crew, HP amplify the voice of the athletes and organisations we work with to tell their stories to an ever-growing audience. Our work itself is challenging beyond comprehension, but for HP to be successful in realising our mission in the long term, we face an even bigger challenge.
We must engage and inspire a passionate following of people from all walks of life and of all ages to support the underdog athletes that we work with. This support will ensure their successes are not in vain, that they can genuinely become stories of inspiration for generations to come and empower the marginalised, underrepresented and disadvantaged communities our project athletes often herald from.
Our vision is that Harper Performance can move the needle just a fraction so that sport can come closer to the meritocracy it is supposed to be, where everyone, whoever they are, wherever they come from and whatever their privilege has a seat at the table, an opportunity to compete and a chance to truly express themselves through sport.
With the right community behind it, HP can provide the vital performance-support that underdog athletes need to compete with the very best in the world, and win. And if we do, the HP community will have won it together. The HP Crew are our megaphones, leveraging their followings, fans and influence to rally people behind the underdog athletes. In an age of congested timelines on social media and more and more calls for help in general, HP needs our ambassadors more than ever to help us rise above the noise, spread our message, our cause and our mission and help us to continue to fiercely champion the underdog.
